With rapid technological development, the success rate of cornea transplantation is >90%. Ophthalmologists in Indonesia can do the transplantation procedure; however, the number of operations still needs to be higher due to the minimal cornea tissue supply available in Indonesia, especially cornea tissue from a local citizen. Therefore, we still rely on other countries to supply cornea tissue.
