Kendari, November 30, 2024 – JEC-Orbita @ Kendari officially opened its doors as the 16th branch of JEC Eye Hospitals and Clinics, and the very first in Southeast Sulawesi. With its launch, the people of Kendari and surrounding areas now have easier access to world-class, comprehensive eye care services supported by advanced technology.
A New Milestone: JEC’s 16th Branch and First in Southeast Sulawesi
As part of the JEC network—Indonesia’s leading eye care group—JEC-Orbita @ Kendari strengthens the commitment to provide integrated, patient-centered solutions. Built on a 529 m² site with a two-story facility covering 646 m², the clinic offers a one-stop eye care experience, from consultation and diagnostics to surgical procedures, education, and optical services.

Commitment to Community Eye Health
In line with JEC’s social mission, the grand opening was marked by a free cataract surgery program for 100 underprivileged patients, held in collaboration with Yayasan Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih. This initiative continues JEC’s long-standing social program “Bakti Katarak JEC.” The clinic will also carry forward JEC’s free glaucoma implant program launched in 2023.
