Lely Retno Wulandari, MD, is a practicing Pediatric Ophthalmologist and Strabismus consultant at JEC Java @ Pasuruan, with a strong commitment to clinical excellence, academic growth, and community involvement.

She received her medical degree in 1999 and completed her ophthalmology residency in 2006 at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Brawijaya, Malang, where she developed a keen interest in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus. To further enhance her expertise, she pursued fellowships in Pediatric Ophthalmology Clinic and Pediatric Ocular Surgery (2006), and Ocular Motility and Strabismus (2007) at the University of Indonesia; Phacoemulsification at Malang Eye Center (2011); and Pediatric Ophthalmology, Strabismus, and Ophthalmogenetics at the University Eye Hospital Munich, Germany (2012).

Motivated by her dedication to children’s eye health, she actively engages in outreach programs for school-aged children in elementary schools, Islamic boarding schools, orphanages, special-needs communities, and pediatric diabetes groups. She has also contributed to public education by co-authoring several recognized books, including Periksa Dini Tajam Penglihatan Anak, Belajar tentang Miopia, Yuk, Pahami Mata Anak, and Mata Sehat untuk Generasi Hebat.

She brings together clinical expertise, a passion for education, and a deep sense of social responsibility in every role she undertakes. Her ongoing contributions to Pediatric Ophthalmology reflect her lifelong commitment to improving children’s vision and overall quality of life.
