Gusti Gede Suardana, MD, is a full-time ophthalmologist at JEC Eye Hospital. His field of specialization is in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus. Dr. Gusti completed his basic medical education in 1987 from Medical Faculty, University of Indonesia in Jakarta. He then finished his postgraduate in ophthalmology from University of Indonesia in 1998. He did fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus at Moran Eye Center University of Utah, Salt Lake City, USA in 2002. He is currently Medical Director of JEC @ Kedoya.

He is an ophthalmologist who practices pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus. However, his preferred interest is in strabismus for pediatrics and adults. Being a member of the International Strabismological Association, his well-known specialties are horizontal strabismus surgeries, vertical deviations, including complicated cases as well. Although having a subspecialty in strabismus, cataract and refractive surgery (LASIK) are skills that are also highly mastered by this doctor, especially phacoemulsification in pediatric and adult patients.
