About
Alia Arianti, MD is a full-time ophthalmologist at Jakarta Eye Center with a special interest in Neuro-ophthalmology. Her scope of clinical work includes all diseases that involve optic nerve and the visual pathway, all the way to the brain: optic neuritis, ischemic optic neuropathy, traumatic/toxic optic neuropathy, acute double vision, facial spasm, and other complex systemic diseases with visual manifestations.
She also has a special interest in ocular electrophysiology: Electroretinography and Visual Evoked Potential (ERG/VEP). Her practice also includes general comprehensive ophthalmology, neuro-ophthalmology, cataract snd medical retina. Dr. Alia completed her ophthalmology residency program from the Ophthalmology Department, Universitas Indonesia in 2016. Thereafter, she pursued a Comprehensive Ophthalmology and Medical Retina fellowship program at Jakarta Eye Center, followed by a brief Electrophysiology and Neuro-Ophthalmology Observership in CHRU de Lille, France. She has also finished her clinical Neuro-Ophthalmology fellowship in Miyazaki University, Japan and the 3-month ICO Neuro-Ophthalmology Fellowship Program in Taipei Veteran General Hospital, Taipei, Taiwan. She also has great interests in research, with several papers presented at the national and international conferences.
She is an active member of the Indonesian Ophthalmologists Association, and currently acting as one of the Public Relation Division committee of the Jakarta branch. She is also an active member of INANOS (Indonesian Neuro-Ophthalmology Society).
